The ‘Get It Straight with Daniel Razon’ coffee table book presents a compilation of the notable journalist and television personality’s encounters and experiences with the movers and shakers in the country – put into words and images.
‘Get It Straight’ coffee table book is based on what transpired in the award-winning UNTV program hosted by the Breakthrough and Milestones Production International’s (BMPI) Chairman and President, which airs Mondays to Fridays at 7:30 a.m.
“Marami kasi nakapaloob doon, halimbawa gusto natin maituwid yung maling naririnig ng iba tungkol sa mga issues and direct mula doon sa mga tao na nasa likod ng mga isyu na pinag-uusapan. So maraming konatasyon yun, basta we want it straight, straight forward questions, straight forward answers lahat ng mga isyu na pinaguusapan diretso lang,” Razon said.
It also serves as a recording of controversial events that shaped our country’s recent history. “Doon sa mga bagay na nandun parang nababalikan mo lang din na, ‘Oo nga pala, itong isyu nga pala na ito napag-usapan ng mga panahon na yaon at ito nga palang mga tao na ito ang involved sa isyu na yun at sila yung nagbigay ng sagot sa mga pinag-uusapan,’” added Razon.

As a program host, Kuya Daniel’s way of eliciting truth from guests through his smart interviews is nothing short of brilliant when he ask guests sensitive questions.
People admire his direct and strategic questioning, which in turn ferrets out honest responses from top newsmakers, effectively generating online buzz as public discussions continues from television to social media.
Under enthusiastic mood, “Get It Straight with Daniel Razon’s” June 13 book launch in National Book Store, Glorietta 1, Makati City, drew more than 500 who waited to meet and hear a few words from the veteran broadcast journalist.
Sold out on the same day of the launch in the same store where the successful book launching was held, ‘Get it Straight’ aims to provide insights into the personal views of the featured guests of the show.
Some of the notable former GIS guests were present during the launch, together with many other supporters and friends of the program host.
The launch was highlighted by “Book signing” where hundreds lined-up to have their books signed by Kuya Daniel.
