MANILA, Philippines – It is confirmed. The Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa is one of the special casts of the much- awaited advocacy film, entitled “Isang Araw the Movie Part 3,” produced and directed by the movie lead actor himself, Kuya Daniel Razon.
The surprise appearance of PNP’s highest official in the movie is part of the partnership of the PNP, UNTV-BMPI, through its CEO and Chairman Kuya Daniel Razon, and the Ang Dating Daan (ADD) with the Members Church of God International (MCGI), headed by the international televangelist, Bro. Eli Soriano.
It can be remembered that during the ADD’s Worldwide Bible Exposition last November 4, Razon revealed that General Bato will partake in the third sequel of his Isang Araw movie for their joint project called “Baraks ni Good Brother,” which aims to support the government’s rehabilitation program for the benefit of the hundreds of thousands of surrenderies.
“Ang totoo po niyan ay mayroon po akong project na inumpisahan at ito po ay kasama natin dito ang Philippine National Police sa pangunguna ni Gen Bato. Ipiniresent po namin sa kanila ito pong isang proyekto. Ang tawag po dito ay Baraks ni Good Brother,” Razon revealed.
Razon also explained that the “Baraks ni Good Brother” is not just an ordinary rehabilitation program but it will include special treatments for all the drug surrenderies such as skills enhancement through TESDA, and medical care, like detoxification, to help them be free from substances that make them addicted to illegal drugs, and more importantly, the spiritual guidance through Bro. Eli Soriano to help them renew their lives, to be better persons. Bro. Eli’s preaching is known to have helped many people around the world change their ways of life, from evildoers to God-fearing persons. “Baraks ni Good Brother” will also serve as the template to all rehabilitation centers that will be built by the Philippine government under the President Duterte administration.
Below is the transcript of the full details about the “Baraks ni Good Brother” project as explained by Kuya Daniel Razon:
The shooting of the movie scene with General Dela Rosa started on November 14. It was disclosed after Ate Arlene Razon, the host of the business and travel show, “Bread ’N Butter,” and the wife of Mr. Public Service Kuya Daniel Razon, uploaded a photo of Kuya Daniel with Gen. Bato on her Instagram. The photo then began circulating on social media.
Isang Araw the movie will be the PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa’s first big movie appearance. It can be recalled that General Dela Rosa already expressed his willingness to have a role in a movie when Kuya Daniel asked him about it during his live guesting on Get It Straight with Daniel Razon at UNTV.
The Isang Araw Part 3 special screening is expected to be held this coming December.
The other big personality to appear in the movie is the Philippine Superstar, Nora Aunor.
Filmmaking is one of Kuya Daniel’s ways to generate income to continuously support their various public services being rendered for the benefit of the poor and the needy. To name a few, there is La Verdad Christian School and College that supports and shoulders all of the expenses of almost 3,000 students, from tuition fees, meals, uniforms and others. There is also an everyday free medical and dental check-up with free medicine.
All of the proceeds of the movie is for public service, true to the advocacy of Kuya Daniel Razon, the Mr. Public Service.
